kereta habis bateri?! haiyak !
Okay, honestly, I don't know what to type. and oh, I'm writing in english ! Sorry everyone, honestly if I wrote in malay my words are like klajdksdhksjhdsjgfsa; so better have me writing english instead...okay? I know I CAN COUNT ON YOU! *cheers*
Okay funny story this week. We, Ikramteens Ipoh decided to do one event and that is street dakwah :) So we chose Jaya Jusco at Kinta for our target. Simply we gave to the muslims, mostly teenagers, a lollipop with some words plastered on the stick saying things like SayNoToValentine and stuffs.
We distributed the lollipops to the muslim teenagers to tell them celebrating Valentine is not muslim's style. It's HARAM in fact. Many of us muslims are oblivious to this fact. It's a celebration of the downfall of Islamic empire in Spain. They said Islam was "torturous"(even islam means peace seriously =.=') and the day of the downfall marked as Valentine's Day to actually celebrate there were no more "torturous" rulers that time. So everyone can go loving2 and stuffs like that..
Valentine's Day comes from that kind of background and why are we muslims celebrating it? We dont wanna celebrate our own downfall don't we? ^_~ After reading this I hope you felt something hit you right on the spot to actually acknowledge the Valentine's day history and not to celebrate it anymore! :D
Ohmygod I was totally out of the topic. hahah askdhskjhdkasdhjfh pardon me, i feel like explaining why we went all the way to the funny topic that I'm going to tell now XD
Okay so after street dakwah, we decided to go home ! :D and YES EVERYONE, this is the part where it starts.... our not-so-adventurous event that evening!
We are glad that we can finally go home that evening after going around a lot in JJ, I joined my friend's ride by her sister. we all got inside the car and ready to take off! when suddenly the car didn't want to wake up.
After blabbering awhile about it we came to a point that the battery was out! In fact, the battery was just replaced with a new one but because of the driver's mistake, the battery died. To make things more dramatic than it is, the place started to rain. So much to our misfortune that day. Good thing it was just drizzling though.
We didn't know what to do, I called my father, my friend called her father but to no avail of getting the solution, we're helpless that time. We even tried to find the nearest workshop but again, they were closed since it was already late. Suddenly me and my friend saw a security guard not far from us which gave us the idea to call and ask him for help. Now, what the security guards are for right? Now we can see them functioning somehow lol.
To cut long story short, the guard called his friends to help and to find a jumper to help start back the battery while keeping on blabbering to us about how girls can't drive and such and blablabla. They even asked if we even had our license, duuuhh, I just passed my SPM examination and it's not me who's driving. but seeing them striving for us, it's touching lol. minus the blabbering of course.
and yeah, we finally got back home after that. Here's a few pictures for all of you. :)
and last but not least, thanks for reading,
with love,
